Company Overview
You will be joining a fast-growing, global and very well-known Recruitment company as their Payroll Administrator on an initial 4 month fixed term contract basis. Part of a close-knit team of 6 in Payroll, you will report into the Payroll Manager and be supported by the high-performing, supportive and incredibly motivated wider finance team including the Credit Control function. This role has become available due to a new Pay and Bill system being implemented over the next few months and there is a requirement for a contractor to come into the team and support with business-as-usual Payroll tasks. You will be based in their modern City of London office 1-2 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for the remaining few days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for dealing with email queries from candidates, consultants and clients, processing timesheets and adjustments, preparing and sending payroll reports to the umbrella companies, checking and exporting placements, any adhoc tasks related to the position and occasionally providing cover on Fridays, which is managed on a rota basis, primarily dealing with email queries. You will work on various internal projects to support the wider team and Payroll Manager.
Role Requirements
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 6m-1yr of relevant Payroll Administration experience and be a confident, collaborative, enthusiastic and proactive individual with an excellent work ethic. Due to the urgent nature of this vacancy, you will need to be immediately available, or available to start at short notice (1-3 weeks notice period). You will be competent with the use of Excel to an intermediate level and be a cooperative team player who can also work independently. You will be able to effectively understand and process information in a timely manner, and demonstrate a strong desire to succeed.
In Return
You will receive an annual salary equivalent of up to £28,000 (depending on experience) retention bonus benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. You will start this role on an initial 4 month FTC basis but due to the size and scale of this organisation, there is a possibility that the FTC could be extended further, or the role made permanent. You will be part of a collaborative, supportive and friendly team who will be there to assist with your onboarding into the business from day one. You will have hybrid working options in order to promote a fair work-life balance.
