As a Building Control professional at JR Health and Safety Consultancy Ltd, you will play a vital role as Building Control Principal Designer in ensuring our projects meet all relevant building regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding our construction projects through each phase, from planning to completion. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather Pre-Construction information.
• Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to assess compliance with building regulations and safety standards.
• Provide guidance and advice to project teams on regulatory requirements, including fire safety, accessibility, and structural integrity.
• Complete design risk register
• Review building plans, specifications, and documentation to ensure they adhere to relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with local authorities, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve compliance issues and address modifications.
• Provide Health and Safety file upon completion of each project.
• Keep up to date with changes in building regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
• Submit applications to the BSR

Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
