You will need to demonstrate you are a people’s person, who is supportive and approachable to all users and professionals who utilise the centre resources, within a healthcare provision which sites substance misuse, community mental health and psychological therapies.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Inputter / Data Cleanser to assist with the accurate entry, updating, and cleansing of a national database data. You will ensure that data is entered into relevant databases accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with required standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates in data to maintain its integrity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry:
Accurately input data from various sources into National database.
Maintain up-to-date and correct information in relevant database.
Cross-check data for accuracy, correcting any discrepancies.
Data Cleansing:
Identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, and duplicates in the data.
Standardise data formats across different records (e.g., names, addresses, dates, appointments).
Ensure the removal of outdated or irrelevant data according to established guidelines.
Data Validation:
Verify and validate the accuracy of data entered by performing quality checks.
Perform audits of data to ensure integrity and correctness over time.
Record Maintenance:
Update records as needed to ensure the latest information is always available.
Archive old or redundant data, following established company retention policies.
Collaborative Reporting:
Provide regular feedback to supervisors and teams regarding data quality issues.
Collaborate with other departments to clarify and resolve data-related issues.
Experience:
Proven experience in data entry, data cleansing, or related fields.
Familiarity with data management software and systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in typing and data entry, with high accuracy.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
Knowledge of data validation and cleansing tools or methods is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies, good communication skills, strong organisational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM systems, databases, or ERP software.
Knowledge of data privacy laws and data protection best practices.
