Electrician

Approved Electrician / Electrical Technician

Location: Lowestoft, England (within a 30 miles radius ONLY please )

Basic salary range – approx. £35,880 to £40,560 (plus overtime & additional on-call allowance)

Role:

Applications are invited from Approved Electricians/Electrical Technicians. Applicants should ideally be able to demonstrate experience and understanding of working in Marine, Industrial/Commercial & Hazardous Area Environments.

Have a strong understanding and ability to carry out electrical repairs, installation and testing work with minimal supervision to a high standard.

Ideal position requirements :

• Time-served City & Guilds 236 Pt 1 & 2 or NVQ 3 Equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection Certificate.
• BS7671 IET 18th Edition plus Amendment 2/3.
• CompEx 1-4.
• ECS Gold Card.
• Clean, current UK driving licence. (Engineers are usually provided with a company vehicle).
• Experience of electrical maintenance & fault diagnosis would be an advantage.

Training to meet the above requirements, may be offered to the right candidate.
