Events and Campaigns Officer

Southwark 2030 is Southwark Council's (and its partners') strategic plan.

We will be launching the strategy in September, and this includes a conference and series of engagement events with key stakeholders.

We're looking for an events and campaigns specialist to help us run this programme of events.

We're looking for someone with strong experience of running events, ideally within the local government sector.

In terms of the events we need to hit the ground running and work up the programme from nothing to a substantive programme very quickly.

You will be sitting with the communications team, but will be the only events specialist in that team.

You will need to liaise with people right across the organisation, as well as other stakeholders in the borough and venues etc.
