Process Operator (nights)

Night shift:

3 on, 3 off - 12 hour shifts.

• 6pm-6am

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor process equipment to ensure efficient and safe production
• Drive the process from the control room, ensuring the process is run safely and efficiently.
• Follow the Work Instructions if any filter alarms are activated or if any emissions or spillages are found.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
• Reach a level of competence to help ensure consistency of product properties and maximum use and efficiency of the plant equipment.
• Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
• Achieve production targets whilst maintaining full quality, safety and environmental within the department.
• Be aware of all raw material stock levels, and to complete any necessary reports detailing information as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a process operator or in a similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
