The Role
We’re looking to grow the Services team by recruiting graduates into the role of Microsoft Data Consultant.
We have been developing graduates into highly-skilled consultants for 10 years and have a proven track record of success, with many continuing to enjoy long careers with us here at Simpsons.
The successful applicants will be enrolled into the Simpson Associates Academy for an initial intensive training period, before shadowing on projects with more experienced colleagues and ultimately forming a core part of our client-facing delivery teams.
Consultants will be exposed to a breadth of industries and technologies, with opportunities to work in areas such as Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Visualisation, Application Development and more.

- Collaborative and eager to join a highly skilled and successful delivery team.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, in a range of formats and to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Delivers work packages to specification on a project, following completion of the technical design.
- Applies a methodical approach to issue definition and resolution. Working with our Managed Services support desk handling calls in accordance with the Simpsons support methodology.
- Demonstrate appropriate behaviour and work ethic according to Simpsons’ values and culture.
Skills And Attributes Required
- A Microsoft Data Consultant is expected to demonstrate the following skills:
- To have a strong academic background with a 2:1 or above in a STEM degree.
- A proven track record in achieving excellence both academically and outside of work.
- To have evidenced the ability to solve complex logic problems in a structured manner and show creativity in approach.
- A keen interest in technology and business issues, with an aptitude to use analytical software or coding.
- Strong numerical skills, comfortable dealing with large volumes of data.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and in person. Comfortable meeting customers and establishing rapport.
- Committed to delivering an excellent customer service, sometimes in demanding
Successful candidates will be required to complete Security Clearance checks, and therefor been resident in the UK for 5 years or more
Selection process will be held via an assessment centre
