Vehicle Repair Mechanic

Turning Wrenches, Powering Journeys: Join Our Vehicle Repair Mechanics Team! We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our fleet of commercial vehicles (both HGV and LGVs) running smoothly. If you're passionate about vehicle maintenance and enjoy solving complex mechanical issues, this is the opportunity for you! What you'll do: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes of commercial vehicles, including engine servicing, brakes, clutches, and more. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic software, and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with the Stores department to source and acquire the necessary parts for repairs. Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure all service records are completed accurately and promptly. Maintain a clean, organised workspace and adhere to all safety procedures and best practices. What you'll need: Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic, with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong background in working with diesel engines. Relevant mechanical qualifications are a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. A valid full driving licence. Note: Both full-time and part-time hours will be considered for this role. • 5 pm, Monday
• Thursday, Friday 7.30 am
