Join our catering team at Kingswood to play a crucial role in creating unforgettable, award-winning, experiences. You will be a vital part of the catering team in our drive to deliver day trips and residential adventures that encourage confidence, relicense and life skills for school and groups of all ages.

About the role:

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £11.92 per hour

Contract Type: Fixed Term

End Date: 31st October 2024

As the Cook for our busy centre, you will support the smooth running of our catering service ensuring all of our guests and staff enjoy healthy and nutritious meals during their stay.

You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of all meals provided at the centre in accordance with the specified menu while offering hands-on assistance throughout the department.

You will play a key part in designing the menu choices alongside the kitchen management team.

About you:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen providing meals for large numbers.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing nutritious meals
• The ability to form positive relationships with colleagues.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous
• Understands and can apply Health and Safety procedures relevant to the job such as Manual handling; safe use of machinery and/or equipment; COSHH; First Aid, Hygiene Practice and HACCP.
