As a Pre-Assessment Nurse department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting pre-assessment clinics and evaluating patient health.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in your area of practice.
  • Leading and mentoring junior staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with the NMC Code of Accountability.
  • Managing patient records and documentation accurately.
  • Providing high-quality care and support to patients and their families.
The ideal candidate for the Pre-Assessment Nurse role will have:

  • Valid NMC Registration.
  • Evidence of relevant clinical professional development.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in the area of practice.
  • Awareness of the NMC Code of Accountability.
  • Pre-assessment or surgical experience preferred.
