Legacy Youth Zone is a purpose-built facility for young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 for those with additional needs) in Croydon.

With almost 3000 members, we aim to provide a safe space for young people to raise their aspirations and confidence.

Role Description

This is a full-time role as the Head of Youth Work at Legacy Youth Zone in Croydon.

The role involves overseeing day-to-day youth work activities, programs, and initiatives to ensure a safe and engaging environment for young people. Some remote work is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Community Engagement and Communication skills
• Experience in Social Services and Case Management
• Budgeting skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Empathy and understanding of youth development
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
• Experience working with young people in a community setting
• Relevant degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Education, or related field
