We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and driven people interested in learning and developing a career in Engineering with our 4-year apprenticeship program. The apprenticeship will give you the tools you need to be responsible for maintaining and repairing the key equipment and production systems which support our photomask manufacturing operation and providing specialist systems and software support to other members of the organization assisting in the resolution of technical problems as they arise.
On completion of your apprenticeship, you will be able to undertake the maintenance and repair of key equipment and systems, which support the photomask manufacturing process. Provide specialist systems and software support to other members of the organisation, assisting in the resolution of technical problems as they arise. Support our ‘tool ownership’ approach by taking primary responsibility for several of our key systems, ensuring that a maintenance plan is optimised and adhered to, maintenance procedures are developed and kept up to date, together with troubleshooting and maintaining other equipment in a secondary support role. Teamwork and knowledge sharing is essential to ensure reliable and consistent performance.
Actively support the continuous improvement efforts of the organisation by identifying the contribution of system error sources and help to minimize the influence of these sources of variation on process output. Participate in team-based problem-solving activities to deliver continuous improvement and reduce waste in the operation.
Assist in the selection and specification of new equipment and systems, co-operating with other members of the Engineering Team and the wider organisation. Support its installation and integration, co-operating with others in the organisation and suppliers.
Support the Health and Safety function by maintaining a safe working environment.
To be considered for the apprenticeship place you must have a minimum of 4 National 5’s or equivalent qualification including Maths, English along with Technical or Science based subjects.
