At MacGregor Black, we are partnering with a leading company on the search for a Senior Analyst. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Birmingham.

As the Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming data into strategic insights that enhance business performance. Your expertise will be critical in supporting key decision-makers by providing timely and accurate analysis of business trends, forecasts, and opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in digital analytics, advanced Excel, and knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Develop and manage reporting tools to monitor KPIs across departments.
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver actionable insights that inform business strategies.
• Create and manage dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to assist senior leadership in decision-making.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a data analysis role.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
