Bench Joiner

Responsibilities:
- Assembly of hardwood door frames and doors according to specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete joinery tasks
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Skills:
- Power tools: Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, etc., for cutting, shaping, and assembling joinery components.
- Assemble: Ability to put together different parts or components to create a finished product.
- Carpenter: Skilled in carpentry techniques for constructing wooden structures or furniture.
- Hand tools: Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, planes, hammers, etc., for precise joinery work.
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects or materials during the course of joinery work.
- Paint: Experience in painting or finishing joinery components with appropriate coatings or finishes.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
