Stores Operative

Salary:Up to £11.70 per hour / £432.90 per week / £22,510.80 per annum

Hours:37 hours per week,Monday Thursday 7.30am 4pm & Friday 7.30am 12.30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative for a global manufacturer on an ongoing temporary basis.

You will be working within a small team of 8 in a busy role to process all goods in, kitting of parts for the production shop floor and packing for despatch.

This role involves a high volume of manual handling and also will involve regular use of stairs due to the stores being located across 2 levels.

Duties will include;

Receiving goods in

Booking in stock on the system

Kitting of parts and goods for production

Allocating kits to production

Undertaking manual handling of boxes and moving between floors within the stores

The successful candidate will possess;

Previous retail / stores / warehouse experience

PC literature

Excellent attention to detail
