The Assistant Marketing Manager- Celebrity Ambassadors, is responsible for providing crucial support to the Marketing Manager and the wider PR & Social Media team, on shaping, activating and measuring our celebrity ambassador programme in M&S Food.
Closely aligning to the Social Media and PR function, you’ll plan and implement creative and engaging celebrity content that builds the brand, drives sales and engages colleagues, ensuring that we have the most well know and effective celebrity ambassador content in the UK.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What You’ll Do
Your key accountabilities will include
- Responsible for logging and tracking Celebrity Ambassador spend and general finance/billing queries for the Celebrity Ambassador team
- Accountable for monitoring and logging all content performance data for evaluation; create and own weekly and monthly reporting
- Accountable for managing Celebrity Ambassador content plan and deliverables tracker, ensuring information is always accurate and up to date
- Responsible for working alongside the Celebrity Ambassadors Manager to ensure celebrity content briefs are completed on time and aligned to trading priorities/brand building objectives and that content is shot, edited and scheduled to plan
- Works alongside the Marketing Manager to deliver the strategy, implementation and evaluation of our Food Celebrity Ambassador programme helping to produce the most engaging celebrity social media content in the UK (well… the world!)
Who You Are
Your skills and experience will include
- Experience in a previous social media/influencer marketing/content role
- Experience of creating and leading creative briefs with internal/external agencies
- Excellent creative knowledge of best practice in social media, up to speed with key social trends and creative formats
- Planning – demonstrate ability to own and manage the M&S Food celebrity ambassador content social calendar
- Insight and analytics - experience in reporting, social media analytics, reviewing numbers and turning insights into actionable plans
