The Role
Looking to launch your career in business change and transformation, then look no further! Joining Midland Heart as a Trainee Project Analyst, you’ll gain a recognised qualification and hands-on industry experience required to firmly establish yourself as a Business Transformation professional.
We are proud to say we have recently been named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list, within the Big Organisations category (The Times).
When you join us, you’ll enter a fast-paced and collaborative career, where you’ll take a leading role in successful change delivery! Joining our well-respected and supportive Projects team, you’ll gain exposure to the full range of business change activities, including documenting business problems, identifying opportunities and creating solutions that align with best practice, and presenting solutions in a meaningful way to a wide variety of audiences across the organisation.
Training Provided
You’ll study over 24 months under a Level 4 Business Analyst apprenticeship that captures modules across business analysis, business change and project management, building not only on your technical skills, but also on your professional development. Training consists of virtual seminars, as well as on-the-job training, supporting you to build your portfolio ready for submission at the end of the apprenticeship. We’ll support you with dedicated time for your studies (1 day per week), plus all course and exam fees are paid for by us.
In recognition of achieving key academic milestones and sustaining good performance in the role, you’ll be rewarded through a salary increase during the training programme and on successful completion of the programme.
Show us your passion and aptitude, and at the end of your programme provided you pass the apprenticeship, we’ll offer you a permanent position, giving you the opportunity to further develop your career within our Projects team – the learning pathway we’re offering is flexible, offering you the opportunity to develop into business analysis or project management!
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate? We’re seeking a motivated individual with a curious mind set, who isn’t afraid of asking how and why to identify opportunities and drive business change! You’ll also demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- You’ve achieved a Level 4/Grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent.
- You’re degree qualified.
- You’ll have some work experience in an office environment – this could be a work placement, internship, voluntary work or professional work experience, that demonstrates your experience of writing reports and presenting to others.
- You’ll have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wider range of stakeholders whilst balancing multiple projects, all of which will be important to both your learning programme and future career success in business change and transformation.
To be considered for the role, you must hold valid Right to Work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the training programme.
