Stores Operative
An opportunity to join an experienced, versatile team, delivering first-class services our aviation contract here at Manchester Airport.
Position Overview
Working primarily in a storeroom environment, the post holder will be a versatile customer focused Stores operative, with the drive to provide a first-class service to the airport. Training can be provided, where appropriate.

The successful candidate is required to be well-organised, precise, confident with credible communication skills readily able and willing to contribute at all levels. In addition, the individual will be versatile, intuitive, and professional with good judgement and absolute integrity. Proactive and persuasive when required and responsive to changing needs of the business and demands of the customer, while remaining calm under pressure and self-motivated, the incumbent will be reliable and well presented, giving a positive image of Mitie company values. DBS Standard level required. To meet aviation security vetting requirements, you will normally need to have been resident in the UK for at least 5 years for Security Clearance.
Proof of right to work in UK essential.
The Contract operates a 37.5 hour working week Mon-Fri.
Required to wear approved company work wear.
