Position: Accountant (Ad-hoc Project)
Duration: Initial 2-month period
Location: Almondsbury, north of Bristol, On-site initially (Remote option available after the first week)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Flexible working hours)
Rate of Pay: £20 to £25 per hour (inside IR35)
Start Time: Flexible (Anytime from 7.30am)
Parking: Free parking available on-site
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant for an initial 2-month ad-hoc project aimed at resolving historical bank reconciliation differences and creating a sustainable working model for future reconciliations. This role offers a mix of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve historical bank reconciliation differences.
- Develop and integrate a working model for future bank reconciliations.
- Utilize excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth implementation of reconciliation processes.
- Work with multiple ERP systems to perform accounting tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliations.
- Experience in Audit is desirable.
- Comfortable using ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Working Conditions
- Flexible working hours with the option to start as early as 7.30am.
- Ability to work 4 longer days and take Friday off, if desired.
- Initially on-site for training (minimum first week), transitioning to fully remote thereafter.
- Potential for consideration for future similar roles, including permanent positions, based on performance.
