Roofing Estimator

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our project planning and cost estimation processes.

Duties:
- Analyse project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Conduct on-site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant information
- Utilise cost estimation software and tools to generate detailed estimates
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for submission to clients
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure cost control
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the roofing industry
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field

Pay: £28,800.00-£36,000.00 per year
