My Homecare currently has several full-time and part-time (weekends only) vacancies due to growth and expansion. As a Care Assistant, you will be a lifeline to many elderly and disabled individuals who are keen to continue living independently within their own homes with the support of a Care Assistant.
The Role:
Provide personal care for Service Users, including assistance with dressing, showering/bathing, and toileting.
Change and empty catheter bags and attach night bags.
Administer medications as needed.
Perform light domestic duties such as washing up, vacuuming, dusting ect.
Prepare meals.
Ensure clients' overall wellbeing on a daily basis.
Assist with getting up and going to bed.
Use lifting and moving equipment such as hoists and slide sheets.
Provide companionship and accompaniment.
Facilitate community access.
The Person:
Empathetic and understanding personality.
Ability to thrive in a busy and caring environment.
Reliable transport and a full valid driving license.
Experience in care is not essential as full training will be provided.
Ability to meet timeframes and work to deadlines is essential.
