Reporting to the Head of QA, we are looking for a Product Technologist to collate and maintain technical files alongside ensuring all products are safe and fit for purpose to meet customers expectations.

This position is full time, office based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool (L24).

The Key Objectives & Accountabilities In The Role Are

  • To ensure that assigned categories have the necessary information and procedures in place to ensure that product integrity and customer satisfaction is maintained to the companys standards, and in compliance with UK/EU statutory requirements.
  • Review samples against product specification and set clear manufacturing, testing, and packaging guidelines.
  • To draw up UKCA/CE declaration of conformity and present to the Head of QA.
  • Regular review of each technical files and product SKUs for each season & to ensure that all product testing is up to date and in accordance with the latest regulatory requirements and returns are within tolerance.
  • Ensure that each product has all relevant regulatory test requirements in place by reviewing each report supplied alongside with conducting product risk assessments.
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and directly with suppliers to launch product ranges in accordance with critical path timelines.
  • Trading Standards Reporting to Head of QA to resolve issues as quickly as possible & ensuring company is able to show due diligence through QA procedures.

The Skills & Qualifications Required Are

  • Currently in an equivalent Technical or QA role.
  • Broad technical knowledge of products in terms of specification, performance, and testing.
  • A good understanding of manufacturing methods and quality standards.
  • Exceptional time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, whilst being able to prioritise and work to project plans.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ideally, you will also have a degree that relates to this field, but this isnt essential.
