Rohallion Secure Care Clinic is a unique Regional and Tayside facility for Forensic In-patient Mental Health Services.
As a clinic we work within the NHS Tayside Values and candidates for the post should demonstrate their understanding and ability to work within these.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register. Experience within a mental health or forensic environment would be desirable although not essential. You should be able to demonstrate evidence of professional development.

Hours of work are: Long dayshift work, both dayshift and nightshifts in accordance with NHS Tayside Rostering Policy. Currently the clinic operate at 12 hour 15 minutes working day 0800 – 20:15, 0930 – 2145 and 2000-0815 hours shift over fourteen shifts per roster period.
NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
