Duties:
- Assemble and fabricate metal & aluminium gates based on specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to determine the layout of the welding process
- Operate welding equipment and tools such as MIG welders, saws
- Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut materials accurately
- Inspect and test welded surfaces to detect flaws or defects
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- Proficient in MIG welding
- Learn aluminium MIG
- Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
