Managing Director

East Sussex – Managing Director - £100k-£120k – Engineering/Science

My client is a highly successful manufacturer of specialist engineering and science products. They are looking for a Managing Director to join their expanding team. You will possess a dynamic and application driven approach to the sales process and the drive to achieve ambitious growth goals. You must inspire the organisation to be customer focused to attain top line revenue growth and improve profitability.

Main Duties:

Providing inspired leadership company-wide

Making high level decisions about policy & strategy

Developing & implementing operational policies and strategic plans

Providing direction

Designing organisation structure & staffing for growth and profitability

Knowledge/Experience required:

Educated to Degree Level in a technical subject

10 years of experience in manufacturing management/similar

Experience in sales of technical equipment

Export control

Ability to train, develop, motivate and manage teams

Experience in x-ray and detection technology desirable

Experiences with significant operations improvements and revenue growth

Salary/Other Details:

The salary for this permanent role is circa £100k-£120k per annum, with bonuses

The role is based in East Sussex

This role will require travel for 20%-30% of the time
