About the Role
Victoria Surgery has an opportunity for a secretarial administrator to join our busy practice support team, on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an allocated day off, to support our busy administration teams.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Co-ordinate and work up SARS requests, confirm verification in place, on spreadsheet for processing and process using IGPR software under supervision of secretarial team.
- Transcribe dictations.
- Process all referrals via ERS ane ensure safety netting is carried out for all 2 week wait referrals.
- Monitor emails: Sort and action information request e-mails.
- Manage telephone enquiries.
- Scan notes for reports/SARS for notes filed at QHMC.
- Raise invoices.
- Basic paperwork.
- Recall all long-term condition patients as per surgery protocol.
- S1 tasks.
- Queries re waiting times.
- Processing of insurance and medical reports.
- LG Notes management at QH.
- Code range of clinical details into notes in line with agreed protocols/procedures.

Victoria Surgery is a well-established and friendly practice in the centre of town caring for a patient population of approximately 11,000. Our team recognises the importance of a good work-life balance.
Our practice team consists of 9 list holding GPs and a dedicated clinical team including, clinical pharmacists, nurse practitioner, 1 nurse and a trainee nursing associate. We are supported by a full management, administration and dispensary team.
