Full time (40 Hours)- Permanent - up to £46,400 15% SA, 4on4off Days/Nights, Swindon, parking on site.
Are you a Shift Leader who champions safety, experienced with monitoring plant operationsand good time management, looking to join a thriving manufacturing team to support the ongoing development of the plant within the green energy sector?
The Role
Accountable for the safety and security of the facility and personnel outside normal working hours, leading and overseeing all shift activities including plant and control rooms and managing the team's performance.
Organise and undertake work activities ensuring completion in timescale.
Support head of production with plant performance issues and resolution.
Fully understand the CMB process, understanding DCS control system, required materials for production, ensure waste materials are delivered/produced/stored/removed as per legislation.
Support maintenance operations, contribute to engineering development of new equipment, actively seeking opportunities for improvements.
Monitor and report progress, ensure accurate records are maintained -audits/inspection/calibration etc, stock management system accurately maintained.
Develop working relationships at all levels in and outside of the organisation including contractors
The Person
Experienced with leading, training and coaching a team, can work independently when required. Proven decision maker.
5 years experience in related industry (Waste, energy from waste, process environments)
It Skills - MS office(SCADA/DCS Systems - Desirable)
Strong numeracy and literacy skills (expert report compilation)
Work flexibility including patterns, locations and reporting lines, ensuring the plant is always manned to the required level.
IOSH managing safely or equivalent qualification
Desirable-understand the operation and equipment of the CMB process, Process or Electrical or instrumentation/controls or mechanical qualifications HNC or above - alternatively experience in process or technical role, ability to provide creative solutions to ensure continued plant operation, adequate knowledge of budgeting/strategic planning/resource allocation/ human resources.
