Salary: *£11.50 per hour

*Applicants must be over 16 years of age. Please note advertised starting salary is for 21 and overs only; a reduced pay scale is applied for applicants under 21 years old in line with the DWP guidelines.

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Shop Cleaner to join our team at Reeve the baker in Sherborne. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within our retail space, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the shop including floors, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dust and polish furniture, shelves, and displays.
• Empty and dispose of rubbish in designated areas.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored correctly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
