Salary: £27,352 – £31,000 (based on experience)

Remark! Training provides outstanding BSL Training from Level 1 to full interpreter status, including refresher courses, CPD workshops and Deaf awareness training. This is a newly created role, due to expansion of Remark! Training. We are looking to recruit to a Course Coordinator to work closely with the Head of Services, BSL teachers and CSW/Administrators. As a member of the Training team, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding student relations and coordinating various courses, overseeing assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations set by awarding bodies.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Services, your key role will be to:
- Coordinate all enrolment requests and enquiries.
- Gather information for 1-1 tutorial requests.
- Support the Head of Services by coordinating the BSL teacher and CSW’s external bookings.
- Liaise with students and teachers, confirming all details and ensuring timely communication.
- Greet students and clients, manage phone calls with communication support.
- Respond to general enquiries and student’s needs promptly and redirect as necessary.
- Arrange interviews and entry assessments for students and teachers as needed.
- Coordinate course enrolments, maintain records and manage waiting lists.
- Coordinate with the operations team to book training rooms.
- Ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee all assessments, including preparing assessment timetables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Maintain exceptional student relations, ensuring Remarkable! experience for all students and clients.
- Promote courses to prospective students and organisations.
- Support the Head of Services in developing and implementing strategies for course expansion and improvement.
- Liaise with CSW/Administrators to ensure administrative tasks for teachers are completed efficiently.
- Gather information for 1-1 tutorial requests, including preparing for interview and entry assessments.
- Maintain up-to date information and shared calendars.
- Use management information and research to feed into plans and promotional activity.
- Any other duties as required by the Head of Services.

Essential
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work following own initiative and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills – able to build rapport with clients and professionals from a wide range of different backgrounds.
- Excellent organisation skills – can efficiently manage information related to various students/clients and their needs.
- Good numerical skills and understanding of written English.
- Excellent administration and computer skills.
- Experience working in an office environment.
- A “can-do” attitude and able to grasp a wide variety of tasks independently.
Desirable
- Experience in coordinating.
- Experience with working with Deaf people and in-depth knowledge of Deaf issues.
