More about your role

As our Managing Lead Agent you will lead the implementation of a project to enhance the quality of services provided to estates and developments via Managing Agents.With keen attention, you will scrutinise delivery against service level agreements raising concerns with them. You will review financial and safety compliance information and act swiftly on any issues, backed by our in house teams. Your role as the go-to expert means advising and supporting customers, stakeholders, and colleagues on complex landlord and leasehold issues, and stepping in as a crucial escalation point when challenges arise. You ensure seamless compliance by Managing Agents, aligning with Places for Peoples high standards and innovative policies. Your expertise in lease management, and service charges drives cross-functional collaboration. You will also oversee effective delivery of services provided by the Group's in house Managing Agent, RMG, working closely with the National Home Ownerships Manager, Finance and Communities Teams.You will refine processes and not be afraid to challenge inadequate services, always ready to adapt and support the evolving needs of the business, customers, and colleagues. This role is remote working, however there will be a small element of travel involved for team collaboration usually to our Preston office.

More About you

You possess a working knowledge of key legislation, including the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and the new Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024, as well as general RICS and ARMA guidelines. Your ability to read, interpret, and explain leasehold provisions is essential. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you effectively engage and influence various stakeholders. You have experience delivering high levels of customer service and meeting diverse customer expectations. Your knowledge of budget and service charge setting processes, combined with strong problem-solving skills, enables you to make informed decisions quickly. Well-organised and adept at prioritising under pressure, you meet tight deadlines and deliver project outcomes in complex environments.
