What you'll be doing:
As Digital Copywriter, you'll craft compelling and action-oriented emails for nurturing and campaign purposes, and setting up automated sequences to strengthen our pipeline. You'll engage with prospects via email and phone to drive conversions, collaborate with Sales and Events teams for email outreach, and conduct thorough research to tailor content to target audiences.
Managing social media platforms, assisting in copywriting across various mediums, and utilising A/B testing and data analysis to optimise copy effectiveness are also key responsibilities. With a focus on accuracy and clarity, you'll ensure all content resonates with audience needs and aligns with Ripjar's brand voice.
This role will be reporting to the VP of Marketing and working alongside the Marketing Operations Manager, Content Marketing Manager, and Events Marketing as part of the same team.
Key Tasks:
- Write engaging, persuasive, and action-driven emails for nurturing and other email campaigns, as well as set up automated email sequences to help build Ripjar's pipeline.
- Follow up and engage with prospects who have enquired about Ripjar's products to drive conversions via email and phone.
- Collaborate with the Events Marketing and Sales teams to promote events through email outreach campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
- Conduct research and work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to identify target audiences and segments, and create email campaigns and other content that resonate with target audience needs and desires.
- Manage Ripjar’s social media accounts including LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Assist in copywriting across a wide range of deliverables including emails, social media posts, event assets, webinars, landing pages, product collateral, presentations, press releases, SEO content, and more.
- Utilize A/B testing and data analysis to continuously refine and enhance the effectiveness of copy.
- Dive deep into research to fuel copy with data-driven insights and facts.
- Proofread, edit, and rewrite copy as needed to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Key Skills:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven experience as a marketing copywriter or similar role in a B2B or technology company.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo or Outreach) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and apply data insights to copywriting efforts.
- Strong experience in the B2B or technology industry would be preferred.
