Role

Position: Design Engineer

Location: Lincolsnhire

Start Date: 1st October 2024

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of both existing and new machinery to support company growth.
• Overhaul and update the current Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical drawings to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with long-standing team members to drive innovation and improve machine functionality.
• Work on 2 new machine projects while enhancing the performance of existing machines.
• Interpret complex machinery designs, including both mechanical and liasing with the software control systems.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
• Strong understanding of complex machinery and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to collaborate with teams to ensure designs meet both mechanical and software control specifications.
• Experience in the food, chemical, or liquid machinery industries is a plus.
  
  

Urgency & Location:

• Local candidates are preferred, but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• The company is looking to hire as soon as possible.
