Round Hill Capital is currently seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its Asset Management team in London. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside and learn from a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Round Hill Capital’s flat hierarchy structure ensures full exposure to various operational functions across both domestic and international deals and projects. The Associate will be based out of London and work with a pan European team from where work across the continent is being coordinated.
About the Role
Focus of the role is supporting the Asset Management oversight function across a number of RHC invested platforms and effectively managing Clients assets in line with their investment preference and driving business plan execution across the European businesses. You will provide:
Analysis of the financial models across different investor platforms to monitor asset and deal level returns (cash flow forecasts with a focus on both operational assumptions and the capital structure of a business)
Prepare and co-ordinate financial reporting, bank covenant analysis and Investor information requirements
Onboarding of new acquisitions into the existing investment portfolios
Determine the financial viability of refurbishment projects
Actual v Budget analysis and detailed analysis on performance v market indicators and macro environment
Drafting presentations and strategic analysis for Investor meetings
Deliver creative financing solutions on each platform, negotiating and executing new debt packages where required
Prepare and review timely asset management reports
Prepare regular investment reports, risk assessments of investments
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is highly driven with a number of years of relevant experience in a similar field at a top-tier investment bank, private equity, consulting or real estate investment firm. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and have the following qualifications:
Outstanding academic record
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated excellence in academic and extracurricular activities
Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Solid understanding of financial models and basic corporate finance theory
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team that is working across multiple locations
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
Additional language skills will be viewed positively
