About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team!
This hands-on individual should be passionate about driving impactful marketing initiatives across digital channels and leading the creation of engaging content. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of our company and managing our social media strategy, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of the industry.
This is a permanent position (37.5 hours per week), reporting into the Head of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities (include But Are Not Limited To)
- Content Creation: Oversee the development and publication of various marketing materials (e.g., case studies, white papers, social media content, blogs, opinion pieces, photo shoots, video content, and printed materials).
- Digital Strategy Management: Manage content across all digital platforms, including the company website, LinkedIn, Instagram, and email.
- Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to devise and implement comprehensive marketing and PR plans, including goals, budgets, and tactics.
- Brand Development: Establish a strong narrative, tone of voice, and unique selling propositions to help the company differentiate itself in the market.
- Consistent Messaging: Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials, including internal communications and newsletters.
- Public Relations: Support media relations efforts in collaboration with our PR agency, developing and executing publicity strategies for company events and initiatives, generating positive media coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
- Email Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns to engage internal and external audiences and drive key marketing objectives.
- Internal Communications: Develop and manage internal communications, including company newsletters and updates to ensure clear, consistent messaging to staff.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyse and report on digital marketing efforts, content performance, and media coverage, presenting appropriate metrics monthly.
- Metrics-Driven Approach: Utilise analytics to inform data-driven decisions and optimise marketing performance.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven Marketing Experience: Demonstrated success in a marketing role, with a strong emphasis on content marketing and social media management, alongside experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, including digital, email, and print marketing.
- Content Creation & Writing Skills: Excellent writing and editing abilities, with a portfolio showcasing a range of materials such as press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and digital content, including strategic and engaging content for social media channels and websites.
- Digital Marketing Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing systems and analytics tools, alongside a solid understanding of email marketing and an active interest in digital marketing trends.
- Communication Development: Experience building and managing communications across web and social platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
- Organisational & Project Management Skills: Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative Team Player: A proactive approach to learning and professional development, with a strong desire to expand knowledge and contribute as a team player.
- Relevant Education or Experience: Industry experience or a degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
Desirable But Not Essential Qualifications/Experience
- Graphic design and image editing skills.
- Video editing skills.
