We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to enable clients with complex needs to move towards recovery. As a Support Worker in our High Support Accommodation Service you will work in a psychologically and trauma informed way, be values led and looking to grow both personally and professionally.

The Role
The Aim Of a Support Worker Is To Deliver Person-centred Support To Clients Who Are On a Journey To Recovery And Who Live In Our High Support Accommodation. Working In a Psychologically, Adversity And Trauma Informed Way, This Includes

- Holding a caseload of clients who you meet 1:1 at least weekly
- Developing and facilitating groups and activities for clients
- Developing support plans and working creatively with clients to support them to meet their goals
- Maintaining detailed case notes
- Helping clients to develop skills to move towards independent living
- Helping clients to maximise their income
- Championing hope and courage
- Responding to incidents and ensuring dliligent reporting
- Promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients

About Our Accommodation-based Services
Second Step provides a variety of accommodation-based services as part of the Bristol City Council commissioned Pathways, as well as multiple other housing related services. Currently accommodation-based services are located in Bristol; however, Second Step has services throughout the South West.
