Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a focus on English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join our team and support our secondary students. The successful candidate will work closely with our educators to provide instructional support, foster a positive learning environment, and help our students achieve their full potential in mastering English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in preparing lesson plans and materials for EAL students.
• Support EAL students individually or in small groups to enhance their understanding of English.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, school trips, and school events.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Provide feedback and assistance in student assessments and progress monitoring.
• Perform administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs tailored for EAL students.

Qualifications:

• A completed or predicted bachelor’s degree (2:2 or above).
• Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with EAL students.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational software.
