THE ROLE
We are looking for an Administrative Support Associate to join our Enrolment Services Department where you will play an integral role in supporting all aspects of Enrolment Services and will work with colleagues across all functional areas to coordinate clinical trials' logistical and administrative aspects to achieve departmental objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for collecting and entering volunteer information onto the recruitment database, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
- Provide volunteers with appropriate study information, knowledge and documentation required for screening and study participation.
- Manage volunteers on-site during the screening process.
- Capture volunteer feedback to aid in the improvement of department screening processes.
- Support with tracking and reporting of key metrics within the screening process across the Enrolment Services Department.
- Liaise with General Practitioners to support the Research Engagement Officer in obtaining medical notes.
- Assist in the organisation of any other appropriate procedures to effectively pre-screen and successful recruit volunteers onto Phase I Clinical Trials.
- Assist in the management of any general administrative tasks that fall under the responsibility of the department.
SKILLS REQUIRED
ESSENTIAL
- Educated to GCSE level or overseas equivalent.
- Previous experience of working within an administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilient and adaptable with the ability to keep functioning effectively and respond in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage any changes to priorities/deadlines.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment/independently as required.
- Strong computer skills including but not limited to MS-Office products such as Excel, Word, and Teams.
DESIRABLE
- Educated to A-Level or Equivalent (BTEC/ HND/NVQ) or overseas equivalent
- Understanding of the General Data Protection legislation when handling personal information.
- Experience working with Standard Operating Procedures.
