The Role
The delivery of high-quality training for the clients and open programmes that support the overall growth of the business.
Responsible for ensuring high standards of teaching excellence and learner experience. Responsible for the input into the development of all training programmes ensuring the product is relevant to the needs of the profession, the Global Standard and to the high standards required by the organisation to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
This role relates to the teaching, development, and maintenance of all aspects of their procurement training programmes and the learner experience. This role by its nature is predominantly based in the UK. However, as part of the training team travel throughout the UK may be required along with the possibility of international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- delivering a minimum of 70 days per year. Includes a blend of Face to Face, virtual and 1-2-1 tutoring.
- ensuring consistent approach to the teaching delivery within allocated programmes.
- being a point of contact for teaching related issues arising within allocated programmes and reporting to the Tutor Team Manager, as and when needed.
- updating allocated course materials and general materials development.
- providing advice, support, and guidance to learners for subject and content specific queries.
- providing support to the Business Development Team demonstrating sector/subject matter knowledge, when required.
- providing support to Programme Leads as required.
Skills And Qualifications
- Experienced tutor
- MCIPS / FCIPS with current procurement and supply expertise (or already studying at L6 with an expectation to achieve MCIPS within 12 calendar months)
- Ability to deliver high quality learning programmes
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure, whilst maintaining sound judgement
- Ability to ensure the delivery of a strong supportive environment to enable all learners to fulfil their learning potential
- Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to deploy and manage resources effectively with efficient priority and time management
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Good IT and analytical skills
