Kitchen Assistant/Cook

Snug Hospitality is an ambitious hospitality operator creating comfortable, warm, and cosy pubs around Norfolk and the East of England. Established in 2020, we acquired our first venue in May 2021 and now operate 8 venues. THE PACKAGE

• Pay between £11.50 - £12.50 per hour
• Hours of work - 15-25 per week average
• Opportunity to develop into a more senior chef/Kitchen role within 6-12 months

THE VENUE

This position will be based at our newest venue The Woodman, Old Catton. Located on the outskirts of Norwich this is a locals pub that we are developing to include a carvery with a supporting small pub classics and specials menu .

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for someone already knowledgeable in all areas of the kitchen who is looking to be part of a new team from the beginning. The focus of the kitchen team will be quality and consistency with the use of fresh produce.

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, and working with the Pub Manager your key roles will be to:

• Assist in the day to day running of the kitchen
• Play your role in ensuring the carvery is freshly prepared, constantly stocked and displayed to high standards, and that all dishes are delivered with consistency and quality.
• Adhere to budget targets around purchasing, payroll and property
• Maintain high levels of food hygiene & safety across the business,

Within 6-12 months you will have the opportunity to move to a more senior role in our other locations and therefore this role offers great progression opportunities.
