Start date 26th August 2024 until 9th June 2025

Hourly pay dependant on age £6.60 - £11.64 per hour

3 days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Saturday 845am-5.30pm

Specsavers Buxton are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to work a fixed term of 9 months in store to cover maternity leave.

Our Administrators are an integral part of our Specsavers business ensuring efficient administration and scheduling that puts our customers first and foremost. This is a multi-skilled role working closely with our store teams and Directors as a key part of the team.

At Specsavers we are passionate about our people and their development. You will receive thorough training and development to enhance your understanding of optical and audiology services, so previous experience is not always necessary, but a passion for fantastic customer service is a must!

You will be a key part in creating a warm and friendly atmosphere and an outstanding store environment both for our customers and our team.

Your role

· Support the management of the diary of clinics, allocating resource to ensure a diary efficiency.

· Manage cancellations and no shows and where appropriate rescheduling appointments

· Confirm appointments with patients ahead of time to ensure the smooth running of clinics

· Organising and arriving contact lens deliveries, managing customer subscriptions and placing orders as they come from the shop floor.

· Ordering and maintaining stock as required (e.g. accessories, marketing material etc.)

· Responding to online or email queries within an efficient time frame

· Mange the eGOS notification process

· Reconciliation of daily sales figures and NHS funding

· Support with local marketing and outreach activity

· Manage financial processes including expenses and daily banking

· Support the Directors with ad-hoc tasks as required

· Act as an ambassador for Specsavers at all times.

Desirable Skills

· Previous experience of working within an Optical environment

· Local marketing and/or social media experience

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: £6.60-£11.64 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
