Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Trade Marketing Manager to shape our brand and product strategies for Flooring Contractors, Installers, and Wholesale customers. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving marketing initiatives, managing product strategies—particularly for our Cushioned Vinyl Products—and supporting the overall growth of the segment.
You will also be responsible for managing our Tarkett Rewards Programme and Priority Partner Programme for our most important customers, as well as engaging the trade audience monthly with training, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Segment Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to Flooring Contractors, Installers, and Wholesale customers.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform marketing plans and product positioning.
- Set segment-specific sales targets and marketing KPIs, aligning with company goals and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer feedback and incorporate insights into marketing strategies.
Product Management:
- Manage the Cushioned Vinyl Products portfolio, gaining a deep understanding of product features and benefits.
- Coordinate with European factories and the European Marketing team to align on product offerings and updates.
- Support product launches, including creating marketing materials and coordinating with sales teams for effective roll-out.
- Monitor product performance and profitability, gathering feedback to inform potential improvements.
Programme Management:
- Oversee the Tarkett Rewards Programme, ensuring it effectively incentivises and engages our trade partners.
- Manage the Priority Partner Programme for our most important customers, fostering strong relationships and delivering added value.
- Engage the trade audience monthly by organising training sessions, launching campaigns, and implementing other marketing initiatives.
- Develop engaging content and resources to support these programmes, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies.
Marketing Campaign Execution:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, events, and trade shows.
- Work with internal teams and external agencies to develop marketing collateral such as brochures, product guides, and online content.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing materials and activities.
Budget Management:
- Assist in managing the marketing budget for the segment, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Monitor expenses and report on budget utilisation to the Head of Marketing.
- Aim for cost-effective solutions to maximise return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in marketing, ideally within flooring or built environment industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
