We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive secondary school, teaching students aged 11-16. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to teach across a range of Humanities subjects, with a particular focus on Geography and History.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Humanities, with an emphasis on creating a fun enviroment to learn in.
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the world, past and present, through the study of Humanities
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work, ensuring they achieve academic success and personal growth
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and respect for diversity
• Contribute to the wider school community by participating in events and extracurricular activities
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
• Experience teaching Geography and History at secondary school level is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
• A commitment to fostering a love of learning and promoting cultural understanding
