We have an opportunity to join Howden C of E Infant School as a Level 1 Teaching Assistant. You will work as part of our friendly and dedicated team, providing in-class support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
This is a part-time position for two days per week, between the hours 08:30am and 3.30pm Thursday and Friday during the school term. This is a fixed term position until 31/07/2025. Your actual salary is £6,686.56 per annum.

What we are looking for?
Working under the direction of the Head of Inclusion, Safeguarding and Wellbeing/SENDCO, the ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of English and Maths and the ability to engage children in their learning. It is important that candidates are caring, have a calm and patient manner, work well as part of a team and can act using their own initiative.
We are looking for individuals who are engaging and versatile, with experience of working with young people . We’re also looking for the following: You will hold a Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification or equivalent, and preferably have experience of working in a similar role.
