Main Responsibilities
Network and foster relationships with official bodies, community groups, and nonprofit youth organisations
Establish a favourable and trustworthy relationship with the youth and local community
Improve students involvement in education, demonstrating enhanced attendance, positive behaviour, and increased academic success
Creating and collaboratively shaping programs that address the needs of young people
Assist with the selection, training, and growth of volunteers
Provide young people with information, advice, and guidance
Documentation is organised, and required evidence is gathered promptly and submitted to managers.
Deliver expert guidance and assistance to junior team members by overseeing their onboarding and offering training sessions
Requirements
2 years of experience working directly with young people, including engaging in activities such as mentoring, providing support, facilitating educational programs
Level 3 qualification in youth work
Youth work degree or equivalent is advantageous
Personal experience with the challenges faced by the young people they support
Skilled in building and nurturing relationships
Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices
