Senior PMO (Project Management Office) – Fintech

Salary: £120K per annum

Location: London or Manchester (Hybrid: 2 days a week in office)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior PMO to join our innovative fintech team. The Senior PMO will oversee project management processes, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role involves managing a team of five project managers and coordinators, supporting project success, and aligning with the strategic goals of the company. The position requires occasional travel to China.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five project management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Project Oversight: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools. Continuously enhance PMO processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives. Facilitate communication and coordination across departments.
• Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation and workload distribution among the team for effective project delivery.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure proactive management of project risks and issues.
• Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasting. Ensure financial discipline and accountability within the PMO.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior PMO role, preferably within the fintech industry.
