We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, and friendly person to become part of our bar team, who will be part of our front of house, working to create a special experience for our customers.

You’ll be joining a brand-new, refurbished pub club. It’s not just about serving drinks; it’s about going the extra mile to send every customer home happy.

So, as well as keeping our front of house looking top-notch, you'll be raising the bar with your personality.

We want a friendly, outgoing person who is comfortable talking to customers. We are preferably looking for a person with bar experience or we are willing to train the right person. If you are a confident, enthusiastic, proactive individual with a bubbly personality, come and join our team.

The main roles and duties will include:

  • Bar serving
  • Open and close bar
  • Preparation of dispensing equipment (optics, refrigerators, drip trays, beer pumps)
  • Preparation of bar stock for sale.
  • Room set-up and laying tables
  • Customer service
  • Greet customers and take orders.
  • Serve drinks and food in a timely manner.
  • Challenge 25: Check identification for customers who appear to be under the legal drinking age
  • Ensure that all drinks are served in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including collecting, washing glasses and dishes.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Completion of any day-to-day paperwork, including accident risk forms, health and safety, and training
  • Cash up till

Desirable but not essential:

  • Previous experience
  • Food and hygiene training
  • First aid training
  • Cellar experience

Skills

  • Previous Bar experience is an advantage.
  • Waitressing experience is helpful but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time involves working Fridays ,Saturdays, Sundays please only apply if you are willing and available for shifts on evenings and weekends. Must be 18 . Car driver preferable due to late working hours. Please provide a brief cover letter with your CV where possible.

Salary: £12 p/h

Hours: approx 10 -15 hours

Start date: ASAP

Shift duration is dependent on availability and demand.

Work Location: In person
