IT Systems Analyst

As an IT Systems Analyst, you will be expected to:

liaise between internal and external clients and stakeholders, colleagues and external suppliers and will analyse and implement systems requirements, features and improvements in order to drive business efficiency and productivity.

Work with subject matter experts to analyse processes with a view to identify opportunities to optimize and implement functionally.

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing workshops.

Train business staff on system use and best practice.

Support the roll out of business systems and enhancements.?

Provide 2nd level system support and problem resolution.?

Ensure that deliverables meet requirements and are on time and within budget.?

Manage issues/risks and escalate as appropriate.?

Create and maintain documentation to support business system implementation and support.

Liaise with other teams within IT to coordinate and control systems changes.

Provide out of hours support when required during implementations, upgrades or in the event of a disaster.?

Meet appraisal targets and support the delivery and achievement of overall business objectives.?

To be successful in an IT Systems Analyst role, the skills you will need:

At least ?ve GCSEs (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English.

Educated to degree level or at least 2-3 years practical experience working within a IT Systems Analyst role.

Experience of configuring and supporting business systems.

Experience of building strong collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

Experience of planning and executing system tests.

Experience of creating system documentation and user guides.

Ability to work at pace to deliver results in a time sensitive fashion

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

A focus on attention to detail.

Ability to work in an agile working environment.

A desire to make a difference in a forward-thinking organisation

Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:

Relevant IT/ Business Analysis qualification /certification

Experience of working with Housing Systems

Experience of managing and testing system interfaces
