Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant

*Join Our Team as a Kitchen Porter*

Responsibilities
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently.
- Maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
- Unloading and putting away deliveries.
- Emptying bins, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Ensuring all equipment is clean and correctly stored.
- Deep cleaning fridges and storerooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards.

-Deep cleaning of the dishwasher and sink area at the end of shift.

-Assisting putting away and tidying logs in the winter months.

Shift Details
- Evening weekend shifts (Friday Evening to Sunday) starting at 6pm
- Opportunity to take on additional daytime shifts in the summer holidays
- This is a weekend role. You must be available on the weekend to be suitable for this role.

Ideal Candidates
- Students aged 16 and over seeking extra income and a job that fits around their education.
- Individuals who prefer a non-customer-facing role

- Individuals who are leaving school looking for an entry role in hospitality and kitchen work.

-Must either have a full driving license or a reliable means to get to and from the pub.

-Willingness to learn and take direction from the chefs.

-Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Pay: £7.50-£11.50 per hour
