About You
You’ll be an experienced Video Editor, ideally with a minimum of 3 years of experience in editing videos. You’ll enjoy and adapt to different project needs; ranging from longer-form social campaign/brand videos to short engaging paid adverts. You’ll be comfortable working with creatives from the ideation of projects through to completion.
You’ll be able to quickly transform designed assets into beautiful created engaging edits. THG Studios videos are often of high importance, and require tight- turnarounds, so agility and speed (whilst retaining quality) are key skills, alongside the ability to take, and actionable feedback.
Main Activities and Tasks
- Craft engaging stories through creative and collaborative video editing
- Deliver post-production video editing for all platforms (TV, events, social media), utilizing specialist programs and equipment for a wide range of jobs
- Collaborate with the internal team to create dynamic video solutions
- Work with the Video Production coordinator, Producers, and Project Managers to plan your time to ensure deadlines are met
- Providing creative support to your colleagues
- Maintain positive internal and external client relationships
- Adhering to internal processes, objectives, and hitting KPIs.

Requirements
- A team player with a hands-on approach and a strong work ethic
- 3 years experience with Adobe creative suite
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional creativity and innovation with a high level of accuracy and technical ability
- A strong understanding of post-production processes and the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere/Audition in particular) is essential. Knowledge of Da-Vinci Resolve is desirable
- A good track record of delivering video content for aspirational brands
- Infuse all creative decisions with storytelling purpose and practical solutions
- A strong communicator with an ability to tailor your approach to both creative and analytical mindsets
- Ability to make rational decisions and exercise THG Studios BMP with integrity and accountability, while working in a fast-paced, high-demand, and sometimes strenuous environment
- Experience working in a team with multiple stakeholders
- Experience editing videos based on creative objectives with minimal direction
- Must be able to respond positively to criticism
- Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring clear lines of communication with all parties (including content sign-off and reporting)
- Stay up-to-date on current trends, editing techniques, and styles, as well as content platforms
- Experience delivering content under tight deadlines, with the understanding that late night & weekend work may be required to achieve delivery requirements
- Can provide final delivery elements on time in various formats.
