As a Cook, you will be responsible for food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and creating delicious meals for our children. We thrive on providing a healthy menu.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and sanitized
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Ensure timely and efficient food service
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times
- Assist in developing new menu items and specials
-Washing up and cleaning of the kitchen areas after food production and deep cleaning the kitchen on a regular basis.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
Requirements:
-An up to date Food Hygiene level 3 or above is essential for this role.
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and best practices
- Understanding of food safety procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus
